Boys' Education Roadmap: India and Abroad

A roadmap for boys in India, from LKG to postdoctoral research: schools, scholarships, internships, fellowships, and study abroad. Download the full PDF.
This roadmap is written for boys in India, especially from villages, and for the parents and teachers who support them. It follows a boy from LKG all the way to postdoctoral research and covers school, higher education in India, studying abroad, scholarships, internships and fellowships, and the wider support a boy needs. It is the companion to our Girls' Education Roadmap, so schemes that are only for girls are left out and explained. I checked the figures and dates against official pages and public listings in October 2026. Amounts and deadlines change every year, so confirm on the official portal before you apply.
The one idea behind this roadmap: A boy does not need to know everything at once. He needs to know the next step for his stage and where to get help for it.
Information as of 7 October 2026.
