Versatile scientist: Dr. Namdev Togre is a biochemist and interdisciplinary researcher specializing in molecular biology, immunology, and infectious diseases. He earned his Ph.D. in India, focusing on helminth-based therapies for inflammatory diseases, and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Temple University, USA, studying neuroinflammation and immune dysfunction.
His work has contributed to understanding infections caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Brugia malayi, and hepatitis E virus, with emphasis on host-pathogen interactions.
Dr. Togre serves as an associate editor at Virulence and has been a guest editor for Frontiers, JoVE, and others supporting global science through peer review and open-access publishing.
As a passionate mentor and educator, he shares career and research opportunities through his website and social platforms, aiming to empower students—especially from rural and underrepresented communities.
