Who Are They Looking For?

Clarivate is seeking passionate individuals with 0-2 years of hands-on experience working with large datasets, particularly using SQL or Python. If you have a keen interest in data and are an effective communicator capable of explaining complex ideas clearly, you might be the perfect fit.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working collaboratively across diverse teams, including subject matter experts, product managers, sales leaders, and client-facing analysts. Key Responsibilities

• Understand the needs and challenges of Clarivate customers by working closely with stakeholders to provide effective solutions.
• Build, mine, and manage multiple datasets required for market modeling and analysis.
• Maintain existing Medtech product catalogs.
• Conduct research on novel medical device markets, including competitor analysis, usage, and product segmentation.
• Evaluate data outputs for market trends, correct errors, and derive actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities for data analysis and experimentation to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights.
• Contribute to the evolution of Clarivate’s products, data models, and data strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong quantitative skills supported by educational and/or professional background.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS SQL is mandatory.
• Experience or interest in life sciences, with eagerness to learn about medical devices and supplies, particularly in the Latin American region.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to explain complex quantitative concepts to various stakeholders.
• Ability to manage short- and long-term projects independently.
• Expertise in handling and manipulating large datasets.
• Ability to synthesize secondary research findings.
• Problem-solving mindset.

Educational Background

• Any graduate or postgraduate degree.
• Preferred degrees include B.E. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Medical Electronics, Pharmacy, or related disciplines.

Preferred (Good to Have) Skills

• Knowledge of MedTech data and healthcare in Latin American countries.
• Experience with Medtech or Claims/Pharmacy data.
• Experience working with data vendors.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools/languages such as R or Python is a plus.
