About the program
Multiple internship slots are available in the Plasma Applications Lab, Centre for Sustainable Technologies, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. Students will work on plasma-based seed priming and its effect on crop yield, combining lab methods with field-relevant analysis.
Eligible: B.Sc / B.E / B.Tech / M.Sc / M.Tech / Ph.D (Life Sciences, Basic Sciences, Electrical, Agriculture, Food Technology, Biotechnology and related).
Duration: Flexible (slots for 2025 & 2026).

Project snapshot & expectations
- Hands-on work with cold plasma seed-priming setups and seed physiology assays.
- Data collection, basic biochemical analyses, and report / poster at completion.
- Hybrid model possible: short on-site stay at IISc (self-arranged travel/accommodation) + follow-up work at student’s home institution.
