Program Objectives

• Provide exposure to top-tier research facilities in the U.S.
• Nurture the next generation of Indo-U.S. Scientific collaborators.

• Develop capacity in biotechnology, biomedical sciences, computational sciences, and interdisciplinary research.

Eligibility Criteria

• Indian citizens enrolled in recognized Indian institutions.
• Pre-final year students in programs such as B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, B.E, M.E, M.S, Integrated B.S–M.S, B.V.Sc, M.V.Sc, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, MBBS, or allied fields.
• First-year, final-year, and PhD students are not eligible.
• Minimum academic performance: CGPA ≥ 8.0/10 or 80% (65% for MBBS students).
• Preference for students without prior international research experience.

Duration & Timeline

The internship typically lasts 10–12 weeks during summer (mid-May to end-July). Selection includes preliminary screening, subject-expert review, and final approval based on academic merit, research interests, and experience.
